Police investigating the tragic accident which took the life of Ringwood teenager Jade Clark, are appealing for the driver of a Volvo XC90 motor car that was involved in the collision to get in touch.
Traffic Inspector Matt Butler said, “We know from our investigation so far that a number of vehicles were involved in the incident and one of these vehicle – a Volvo XC90 – left the scene before police arrived.”
The appeal also goes out to anyone who has seen a Volvo XC90 with recent damage, or repair work, to the front of the vehicle to contact the police on 101 or on the anonymous Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply. Witnesses to the collision are also asked to contact the police.
The 16-year-old died at the scene of the accident on the A31 Ringwood last Sunday evening (24 February).
