Visiting patients at our local hospitals is being adjusted for Christmas Day only.

Up to two visitors from the same household may visit patients in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospital wards by appointment only, for one hour.

You must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 and you cannot visit patients with the virus.

To arrange a visit over Christmas Day, please call the ward in advance to book an appointment so they can manage numbers of visitors on the wards. You must follow the strict infection prevention rules when you’re there to help protect staff, patients and their families:

• wear a face covering or appropriate PPE for the ward – staff will help you with this
• adhere to social distancing
• wash your hands use the gel stations provided
• abide by national restrictions regarding movement across tiers
