Looking for new career options in these difficult times?
Are you now in a position where you need to explore alternative employment options? Have you ever considered what it would be like to work for yourself?
The team at Inspire Dorset recognise that this is a testing time for all and would like to let you know that they are available to provide free coaching for unemployed people; helping them move towards employment.
The Inspire Dorset programme is being run by Dorset Community Action and funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund and specialises in supporting unemployed people towards their self-employment goals. This is achieved by delivering a person-centred approach and taking into account any barriers an individual may face.
During these unprecedented times Inspire Dorset have adapted how they work in order to remotely coach people through video calling and telephone to develop employability and life skills, self- employment, business and enterprise skills.
In addition they are developing tailor-made toolkits to assist unemployed people with health and wellbeing, confidence and resilience building, processes to employment and becoming self-employed ready.
They are currently looking for unemployed people from across Dorset to take part in a remotely run team challenge, allowing participants to build their employability and business skills; and plan for their future, whilst supporting their own community. Further details can be found on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/supportinginspiringenterprise/
The six-week team challenge will start on 1 June 2020 and involve weekly meetings via phone calls and group chats. All activities can be carried out from the safety of your own home.
