Chief Inspector Debbie Marsden, of Dorset Police, said: “I understand that John has not been well and his family are understandably concerned that he may come to some harm.
“He has gone missing without any money and he does not have a phone.”
John is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, medium build with white hair. He has green eyes, wears glasses and may be wearing a black jacket and black trousers. He walks with a distinctive shuffle with his hands held behind his back.
Chief Inspector Marsden continued: “The family have told us that John is easily confused and they ask anyone who sees him not to approach him but to call the police on 101.”
Anyone with any information or knowledge as to John’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 18:72.
