Abacus, the Ferndown and Andover based Vehicle hire specialists, have taken the promotion of their services to a new direction.
Two of their new Daf 7.5 Ton hire trucks have had their bodies wrapped to promote the company’s motorhome hire service.
Dave Wolfenden, founder and managing director of Abacus, says that the eye catching trucks will be seen across the UK as they are hired by commercial customers. “It’s the first time since we launched our motorhome hire division was introduced that we have used our trucks to promote the fact that we have a wide selection of modern motorhomes for hire,” he says.
Launched in 2006, the fleet of 2–6 birth motorhomes has grown to 42 to meet the demand for holiday bookings from people across the UK for holidays in Britain, with over 15% travelling to mainland Europe. Online bookings through www.abacusmotorhomehire.co.uk are the strongest area of growth but the company hopes that the promotional trucks will reach people who are still not internet active.
