Member schools will be able to access virtual experiences of the SafeWise learning village, with learning in areas such as safety, healthy living and mental wellbeing. Curriculum-linked resources for teachers and a range of other features, including home learning, will be available to the whole school community.

Membership will contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum that focuses on building children’s resilience and confidence, critical thinking, decision-making, communication skills and more.

SafeWise chief executive Rob Hattersley said, “Our new SafeWise School Membership for primary schools brings skills for life and safety education straight into the classroom via a virtual learning village and specially created resources.

“The new programmes have been developed by our in-house qualified teaching professionals, at a time when skills for life are more important than ever before as we all adapt to a new COVID world.

“As well as the classroom experience, the membership includes brand new in-centre visits to SafeWise Bournemouth which are set to start early next year, as well as many other benefits for schools and their families.

The development of immersive virtual reality experiences for Key Stage 3 pupils in secondary school is also underway.
