A dolphin water feature has been found in Bearwood and police are appealing for help in finding the owners.
On Sunday 8 December, officers stopped a vehicle on Francis Avenue and arrested two men and a woman on suspicion of theft.
Investigations Officer Andrea Garner, of Bournemouth police, said: “A dolphin water feature has been recovered as a result of these three arrests and I am now able to release a picture of it.
“I hope that by sending out this image someone recognises it and will help us to find the rightful owners.
“It is possible that they have not yet realised the statue is missing.
“Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any information that may assist with our investigation.”
Two men, aged 32 and 40, and a 33-year-old woman, all from Surrey, have been arrested and released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 08:432. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
