Wimborne Minster’s congregation and choir held their annual Palm Sunday procession from the Allendale Centre to the Minster, commemorating the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. After opening prayers outside the Allendale Centre and the blessing of the palms held aloft by the congregation, they marched on the square singing ‘Lift High The Cross.’ After reading the gospel they then moved onto the Minster with their rendition of ‘All glory, laud and honour to thee Redeemer King,’ before holding the Parish Eucharist inside. All that was missing was a donkey.
