The Palm Sunday procession from the Allendale Centre to the church on Sunday for the parish Eucharist marked the start of Holy Week at Wimborne Minster.

Later this week the congregation will be joined by the Bishop of Sherborne The Rt Rev Karen Gorham who will be the preacher for the Maundy Thursday Eucharist of the Last Supper at 7.30pm. The Bishop will also lead the Three Hours’ Devotion on Good Friday starting at 12noon and will preach at the Easter Sunday Morning Parish Eucharist at 9.30am. She will also confirm three Minster young people at the Dawn Eucharist Easter Fire Service at 6am on Easter Sunday morning.

On Good Friday after the conclusion of the Three Hour Service at 3pm there will be the usual Bun Walk to Pamphill which will conclude with a short service at St Stephen’s Church Kingston Lacy.
