“I am so grateful,” said Jude Todd, Co-ordinator of Nightstop, based in Ringwood, “To the Rotary Club of Ringwood for standing out in the cold shaking their tins prior to Christmas.”
She received a cheque for £1,000 from Rotary President Michael Lingam-Willgoss at one of their Tuesday meetings at Greyfriars and went on to say “I would like to read to you some feedback from a 19-year-old who had 25 nights with Nightstop and was accommodated last week. A fantastic outcome; it really is so much more than just a bed. Nightstop transforms a young person’s whole outlook on life and offers them the chance for a more positive future.”
“’ felt safer staying with New Forest Nightstop,’ wrote the young person.
‘It has helped me to interact with people which I never normally would do and has given me confidence to progress in life. I’ve also learnt that there are so many people willing to help which I used to think there wasn’t. It has given me such positivist towards future life and has helped me in so many ways that there is not enough space here to explain. New Forest Nightstop has changed my life so much, thank you.
