Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, was pleased to present two lucky raffle winners with a diamond pendant during its 60th anniversary celebrations thanks to Franses Jewellers in Bournemouth.
The Diamond Raffle ran throughout the charity’s diamond year and was announced at its Diamond Gala Ball that took place in November. The winning ticket was 27877 and the lucky winner was Nathan Santangelo-Barber, whose wife Sian, works for the charity’s supported living team. Luckily Nathan and Sian attended the ball and were presented with the diamond pendant with an 18 carat white gold chain on the night.
During the Diamond Gala Ball a second raffle took place and Natasha Cole, from Southampton, was the lucky winner of an 18ct gold diamond heart pendant, set with brilliant-cut diamonds on an 18ct gold chain. Natasha attended the ball with her partner who works for BBX, one of the gala ball sponsors.
Helen Mortimer, fundraising manager, at Diverse Abilities said: “A big congratulations to both our winners and a huge thank you goes to everyone that purchased tickets for both raffles, which raised over £8,500 for Diverse Abilities. The funds raised will make a vital difference to children and adults with disabilities, and their families, giving them a future they rightfully deserve.”
