Regional charity Autism Wessex has launched a new text donate number as part of its charity partnership with Castlepoint Shopping Park.
The text donate code ‘SHOP15 £2’ has been launched by Castlepoint and Autism Wessex to help raise vital funds for the charity. Peter Matthews, General Manager at Castlepoint said: “We are delighted to be supporting Autism Wessex and we will be getting involved in a number of campaigns throughout the year. We hope to raise awareness of the work the charity does and hope our shoppers will donate whatever they can. On an average Saturday Castlepoint welcomes 35,000 shoppers, if everyone donated just £2 via text donate we could raise an amazing £70,000 for the charity.”
Autism Wessex provides three main areas of support. Information and Advice, the free information service offering unbiased advice to anyone who needs it, Community Wessex, for social care and residential services and Portfield School for education and respite services.
