Members of the School Council at Trinity CE (VA) First School in Verwood made a visit to their local town council offices.
The Mayor, Cllr Simon Gibson and the Town Clerk, Mrs V Bright answered any questions from the children regarding how the council functions. The children gave information on their fund raising activities and how their meetings are run at the school.
The mayor was dressed in his robes and the children were given the chance to try them on. Charlotte Morrey, Chairman of the School Council (pictured), wore all the regalia.
