The Poole Ukulele Band helped the NSPCC to raise £350 in a few short hours at Sainsburys in Ferndown on Sunday 8 December.
The joyful atmosphere encouraged children and shoppers to singalong in store.
The funds will go towards the NSPCC’s ChildLine services during Christmas and New Year.
In previous years as many as 50,000 callers have contacted ChildlLine in this period, so the money will enable counsellors to respond to many children across the South West.
