With a great reputation for their interpretations of contemporary 20th century music, the Vocal Fusion Choir is performing its main fundraising concert of the year for the Wimborne Stroke Support Group (formerly the Phoenix Stroke Survivors Support Group).
David Saxton, events and topics co-ordinator of the group says, “This choir of which I am so proud and fortunate to have been a member for the last two years, in my opinion, can’t fail to take your breath away. You will get goose bumps when you hear those five part harmony chords echoing around the hall at the end of a song. It is definitely an event not to be missed.”
Tickets for the concert, being held at Queen Elizabeth School, Pamphill, Wimborne at 7.30pm on Saturday 11 July are still available from the Lantern Church Office, Merley – Tel: 01202 887733 between 9am and 1pm; any member of the choir, or by phoning David Saxton on 01202 884737.
Wimborne Stroke Support Group provides a friendly place to meet every month offering mutual moral support and an opportunity to listen and learn from visiting guests and speakers as well as the occasional boat and coach trip out for a change of scene.
