The annual spring Coffee Morning held at the home of Anthony and Christine Oliver in aid of Wimborne in Bloom on 18 May raised £409.
Around 80 people attended. New mayor, Cllr Andy Hampton, who has chosen to support Wimborne in Bloom in his mayoral year, was unable to be there, and was represented by his daughter Alisha who not only helped throughout the morning but also drew the raffle.
The next in bloom event is the annual Open Gardens Day around the town. It takes place on 23 June and this year there will be 19 gardens to visit, some offering refreshments. Lunch will be available at the town hall.
