This year there were six new gardens participating in Wimborne in Bloom’s Open Gardens Day on 29 June, with a couple returning from earlier years amongst the total of 21.
The gardens attracted 450 visitors, some from as far away as Holland.
Richard Nunn, Chairman of Wimborne in Bloom speaking after the event thanked all who had made it such a successful day including the public.
“They all seemed to have enjoyed their day exploring,” said Richard adding, “Many glowing comments were very rewarding for the quality and varied content of the gardens.”
A total of around £2,800 was raised towards this year’s in Bloom Campaign.
