Eight students from Year 9 at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne were lucky enough to get the opportunity of going on a trip to Wimbledon on Wednesday.
The school secured court 1 tickets and the students were treated to Andy Murray on top form when he beat the Slovenian, Blaz Rola 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 to progress into the third round of the Wimbledon Championships.
They also enjoyed watching a dramatic four set match between Berdych and Tomic.
Students thoroughly enjoyed their Wimbledon experience, saw some top class tennis and hope to have picked up some valuable tips to use in their own local fixtures.
