NEWS FEED
Hidden in the centre of Wimborne Minster is the Garden Tea Room at the Priest’s House Museum & Garden. Access to the tearoom will be free for any tearoom customers from Monday 4 July to Saturday 9 July during Wimbledon. There is a separate admission charge for visitors to the house and museum.
Set in the beautiful walled garden, which features old varieties of fruit trees and colourful herbaceous borders, the Garden Tea Room offers a calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Its seated patio provides an outdoor space to enjoy throughout the summer.
Tearoom visitors can choose from a selection of freshly ground coffees, a cup of tea or a range of traditional cold drinks. Homemade cakes, quiche and paninis are just some of the treats on offer, along with a selection of ice creams and a cream tea or Gardener’s Tea. The menu features a range of local Dorset products.
For this week only there will also be a special offer of a tea or coffee and a slice of cake for just £3. Alternatively visitors can try strawberries served with delicious clotted cream ice cream for a touch of Wimbledon.
