Worbey and Farrell and a wicked sense of humour come to Poole
Internationally acclaimed concert pianists and Steinway artists Worbey and Farrell bring their wicked sense of humour to Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts on 23 March at 7.45pm.
Having entertained all over the globe with their blend of sparky comedy and sensational piano playing, Worbey and Farrell bring their unique touch to the world’s greatest music.
Fresh from sell-outs and five star reviews across the board at the Edinburgh Festival, this is your chance to experience their magnificent new show featuring their award-winning interpretation of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Worbey and Farrell are both graduates of the Royal College of Music, regulars on BBC Radio 3 and television including ITV’s This Morning and The Culture Show.
This exuberant show with exhilarating rhapsodies and beguiling boogie woogies is suitable for every age and all musical tastes. Prepare to be moved, delighted and utterly gobsmacked. But above all, prepare to laugh with joy at the sheer ingenuity and style of these two masters of musical mayhem. Directed by Geoffrey Durham.
