Dorset not overwhelmed with weekend visitors
Last weekend went by with very few incidents in Dorset despite the good weather.
Dorset Family History Society continue to meet
Although in March Dorset Family History Society had to close its Treetops Research Centre in Fleets Lane, Poole and cancelled its Family History Day, monthly meetings and computer group, it is still a vibrant organisation.
Dorset Council leisure centres to re-open
Hurrah! Dorset Council’s leisure centres are to re-open from Saturday 25 July – and yes this does include indoor swimming pools.
Catamaran cut free in Poole Harbour by Poole lifeboats
Both Poole lifeboats were launched at 4.40pm on 13 July when a catamaran with three people on board became entangled in ropes at the bottom of Evening Hill in Poole Harbour.
