Local Dorset Editors

Janine Pulford

EDITOR-AT-LARGE

Janine has over 30 years’ experience as an editor. After being made redundant in 2003, she set up a publishing company in Ferndown to ensure the East Dorset community didn’t lose a much-loved local magazine. Over the years more community magazines followed. After her retirement in 2024 she became Editor-at-Large for Pulford Publicity, which is now owned by her two sons. Janine has covered some of the most controversial stories in the area and among other achievements she helped save West Moors Library from closure in 2011. Her heart is in her community and writing is in her veins – she has also written and published seven novels.
