An Amber wildfire alert has been issued for the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service area following the recent hot weather.

Dorset Police says it is taking a tough approach to anti-social behaviour in the county which can increase in the summer.

The festival, which has a whole host of entertainment, could also be an opportunity to find out more about developments at local hospitals.

The four men are to take part in The Longest Day Golf Challenge to raise funds for a charity which is very close to all their hearts.

The company will be staging Towards Zero by Agatha Christie and Gerald Verner at the Tivoli Theatre from 21 to 23 October.

The organisation has donated £350 to be used to help defray the costs of instruments and music lessons for disadvantaged youngsters.

However the council says the multi-agency summer response plan was a success despite record breaking figures.
