Drink-drive crash victim survivor Paul O’Boyle has completed his latest challenge – running 212 miles of the rugged South West Coast Path.

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, has launched a new fundraising event – a fireworks cruise around Poole Bay on Thursday, 26 August.

A Dorset charity whose fundraising events have been decimated by Covid is asking people to ‘Eat In To Help Out’ local cancer patients.

The new chairman Tom Flood will take over from Jeremy Mills in December, with four new trustees coming on board.

The cleaning works will take place on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 August from the Cooper Dean flyover to the County Gates.

Patrols, together with the police and crime commissioner for Dorset, will be out today as part of Operation Relentless.

Organisations have until 24 September to apply for funding of up to £10,000 for youth projects which make a difference.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses of this assault in Charminster Avenue, particularly two people who came to the aid of the victim.
