After much debate at the Dorset Council planning committee meeting today (3 September), permission, with conditions, has been granted.

Following a month long trial in August a decision has to be made as to whether parking fines should be increased permanently.

The secret’s out! A new Dorset giant half the size of the Wembley Stadium pitch is being created by many hands and will soon appear in Corfe Castle.

If approved by Dorset Council’s Cabinet on 9 September, the authority will go ahead with installing energy-efficient LEDs.

Funds are available for initiatives from the UK Shared Prosperity fund which is managed by Dorset Council.

The Rt Hon Caroline Nokes had the chance to try out one of the bikes which are suitable for people with physical or intellectual disabilities.
