Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council teamed up with LV= KidZone over the summer to create a safer coastline for families.
The event, which took place at the Yeovil Games on Saturday 20 September, saw Wimborne Athletic Club taking first and second place.
This would align BCP Council with Dorset Council which has town and parish councils in towns and villages.
There are 15 events planned across the three towns including community meals, apple pressing and herb drying.
