Continuing a ‘tradition’ started in 2001 Roses were sold to mark St.George’s Day around the Town of Wimborne Minster this morning raising money for The Mayor’s Charities, Wimborne Scouts, Wimborne Guides and The Planet and the Town’s Militia.
The Mayor, Cllr John Burden was delighted with the response from the public and all 100 roses were sold in less than two hours raising £238.
