An absolute must for golfing enthusiasts
Peter Alliss is undoubtedly ‘The Voice of Golf’, which is not a surprise when you consider that he has been broadcasting on the game continuously for the BBC since 1961.
His enormous popularity has enabled him to travel around the world commentating on golf and on the way, entertaining millions of people with anecdotes, stories and reminiscences. However, despite his live shows being enormously popular, the opportunity for the audience to ask him questions has only ever been a small part of the evening… Well, this is all about to change!
In his brand new show, touring the UK this spring, the evening will, in the main, be based around what everyone has been clamouring for… the chance to ask Peter questions.
The audience will be encouraged to pose questions to Peter and find out from answers such as ‘why is golf such a special game?’ and also what the legends such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tony Jacklin, Tiger Woods and so on are really like… if anyone should know, it is Peter Alliss, as he has met and commentated on all of them.
‘A Question of Golf’ will be a truly special evening’s entertainment and a must for all golf enthusiasts. At the Regent in Christchurch on Wednesday 29 March, 7.30pm. Tickets £24, Concessions £22.
