A free butterfly walk is taking place at Wimborne’s Knoll Gardens on Friday 17 July. Timed to coincide with the launch of the Butterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count, the walk is one of a series of garden wildlife events run by the Knoll Gardens Foundation throughout the year. They all highlight the importance of creating glorious gardens that are as attractive to wildlife as they are beautiful to enjoy.
‘Beautiful Butterflies’ starts at 11am and runs until 12.30pm. The event is free but donations to the Knoll Gardens Foundation are welcomed and booking is essential as numbers are limited. Book online at www.knollgardens.co.uk or call the nursery on 01202 873931.
