Hundreds of people enjoyed the spectacle of scaled-down steam engines working the streets around the world famous Wimborne Model Town amidst the glorious sunshine of the last weekend in September.
The mini steamers hauled young and old on specially constructed passenger trailers against the backdrop of a collection of classic motorbikes, some dating from the early 1950s matching the time period of the vintage attraction’s opening.
Model Town manager Greg Hoar commented, “The Model Town had sun, steam , ice-cream and a wonderful collection of two-wheeled nostalgia. We are very grateful to all those who turned out to make this event such a success.”
