Police investigating alleged indecent exposure incidents in the Verwood area are appealing for anyone with information to come forward – with one man being arrested.
Dorset Police received reports that a man had indecently exposed himself on the footpath area between Potterne Park and Moors Valley at around 4pm on Wednesday 8 April 2015.
East Dorset Deputy Neighbourhood Inspector Simon Perry said: “As a result of the alleged offences, local officers have and will continue to conduct enhanced patrols in this area.
“I would like to hear from anyone who has seen similar behaviour in this area during the last few weeks.
“In addition, I would like to reassure residents that this matter is being taken extremely seriously and a full investigation is taking place as well as continuing targeted patrols.
“Anyone who has information that may assist with our investigation should call Dorset Police in confidence.”
A 32-year-old man from Cambridge has been arrested. News item update 14 APRIL. The man has been charged in connection with the incidents.
