Amanda Holden signs the charity celebrity autograph book with Bill Riddle and Waterstone’s senior book seller Michelle Lever.
Bournemouth’s Castlepoint Shopping Park gave British actress, singer and presenter Amanda Holden, currently best known as a judge on the ITV talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ a VIP welcome as she attended a book signing of her new autobiography ‘No Holding Back’ at Waterstones.
Bill Riddle, operations manager, welcomed Amanda and her entourage. He said, “Before she signed any of her own books, Amanda expressed enthusiasm to be one of the first to sign the celebrity autograph book.” Once filled with signatures of the famous authors who attend book signings at Waterstones, and other booksellers at the park, it will be auctioned to benefit a local charity.
“Amanda was brilliant with her fans, some were local people who remembered her from the days she lived in Bournemouth but some had travelled long distances to have the opportunity to meet her, and many teenage fans brought presents for their favourite talent show judge,” added Bill Riddle. “She looked fantastic and made many people’s visit complete by posing with them once a book was signed.”
