Year 3 and 4 children at Colehill First School received a fascinating insight into Judaism when they took part in a Passover meal.Led by Lynda Ford-Horne of Living Judaism, the children were also given a first-hand experience of following the Jewish faith with workshops.

Headteacher, Andrew Turrall, said, “Having experience of the Shabbat and Passover brings religious education to life as well as giving them a memorable and meaningful experience.

“It really helps our community to appreciate and celebrate the diversity of faith groups locally and globally.”

During the Passover meal, pupils from the Wimborne Academy Trust school tasted foods that have special symbolism for Jewish people.
