Antiques Road Trip coup for Wimborne Model Town
BBC1’s Antiques Road Trip visited the vintage charity attraction earlier this year and the episode will be screened on 15 September.
Make sure you switch on BBC1 at 4.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday 15 September, as Wimborne Model Town is featured.
The volunteer run vintage charity attraction is the backdrop for an Antiques Road Tripp programme which presenters Irita Marriott and James Braxton recorded earlier in the season.
“The team arrived in a classic Volvo P50 and had a good look around our miniature buildings with Irita taking a shine to the antiques shop in Cook Row and venturing inside the 1/10th scale Minster,” said a spokesman.
This week sees not only a TV appearance for the miniature town diorama, it is also laying on a Mini Steam & Vintage Day on Sunday 19 September, with classic cars, motor bikes, a vintage bus and mini traction engines in attendance.
