Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following an assault in West Moors.
At around 9.45am on Friday 29 May 2015, a collision took place on Station Road between two cyclists.
After the initial collision, the offender grabbed the victim, a 31-year-old man from Three Legged Cross, by the throat and pushed him into a hedge.
The offender is described as a white male, five feet six inches tall and aged in his late 40s. He has black hair and was wearing glasses. He was riding a distinctive gold-coloured Brompton-style bike and left the scene heading towards Ferndown.
Police Constable Tom Clements, of Verwood police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed either the collision or the assault immediately after to please call me on 101.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
