Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and information after a collision in the Oakdale.
The incident occurred between 1-1.30pm on Saturday 19 October outside the Post Office on Wimborne Road.
A 13-year-old local girl was on the pedestrian crossing with a friend when she was involved in a collision with a silver coloured car.
The victim suffered minor injuries to her legs.
PC Liz Renshaw, of Poole police, said: “The driver of the vehicle did stop briefly and a passenger helped the girl get to the pavement however they did not leave any contact details. I am keen to speak to them to ascertain exactly what happened.
“It was a busy time of day and there would have been a number of people in the area at the time that may have seen something. I urge any witnesses to come forward.
“A large community vehicle stopped at the scene and I would like to thank the driver for their assistance.”
