A disabled man has been robbed in Bournemouth
The local man in his 40s was removing items from a parked car at around 5.45pm on Wednesday 27 May 2015 in a car park on Duck Lane. He felt the car door pushed into his back followed by someone’s hands which pushed him to the ground.
A Timberland bag containing a Fujitsu laptop was stolen from the vehicle. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white man, around five feet eight inches tall and of thin build. He was wearing a light blue hooded top with white stripes down the arms, grey tracksuit bottoms and dirty black and white Nike trainers. He had brown messy collar-length hair.
Another man, who police would like to speak to, was seen cycling in the area just before the incident. He is described as white, around five feet ten inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a grey zip-up jacket and a white V neck top with a crest logo and mauve stripe on it. His bike had a black and silver frame and foam sticking out of the saddle.
Police Constable James Lees, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this incident, in particular the cyclist who was in the vicinity at the time of the robbery, as they may be able to help with my enquiries.
“I am also appealing to anyone who recognises the descriptions of the suspect and the cyclist we would like to speak to, to call me on 101.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
No arrests have been made.
