Appeal following Bournemouth nightclub assault
A number of witnesses have already come forward, but Dorset Police are also appealing for mobile phone footage.
Police are renewing their appeal for information following an altercation in a Bournemouth nightclub that left a man with life threatening injuries.
The incident took place at 1.32am on Sunday 27 February in Vinyl club on Fir Vale Road in which it is alleged a 20-year-old man from Sunbury-on-Thames was assaulted and fell to the floor. He sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 23-year-old man from Bournemouth who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following our earlier appeal a number of people who witnessed this incident have contacted Dorset Police with information and I would like to thank them.
“We know the nightclub was busy at the time of the incident and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not yet contacted Dorset Police to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured all or part of the incident on a mobile phone.”
