Appeal for information after commercial burglary in Dorchester
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a restaurant in Dorchester.
A break-in occurred at the Kao San Thai Restaurant in High West Street between 9pm on Sunday 28 March and 9am on Monday 29 March 2021. It is believed entry was gained through the rear of the premises, which backs onto Princes Street.
A till drawer containing a small amount of loose change was stolen and a black and white bicycle was also taken from the rear of the property.
Police Constable Dave Ash, of Dorchester police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.
“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of Sunday 28 March 2021 or who may have captured something relevant on home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
