Detectives investigating the alleged theft of power tools have released images of recovered items and are asking for anyone who recognises them to come forward.
Officers carried out warrants at six addresses in the Hamworthy area of Poole on Monday 3 November 2014 and recovered a large number of high-value power tools and garden machinery.
Detective Constable Andy Brix, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “As part of our ongoing investigation we have uncovered a number of power tools and are keen to find the potential owners.
“We believe some of these items may have been stolen in the Romsey area of Hampshire on or around the evening of Wednesday 17 September 2014.
“I would urge anyone who has had tools or garden machinery stolen in the Romsey area or in Dorset to visit this website https://www.flickr.com/photos/hampshireconstabulary to view images of the recovered power tools. If you do recognise an item please call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 3:49 and Operation Steer.”
Six men – aged 20, 27, 28, 43 and two aged 22 – and a 41-year-old woman, all from Poole, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal. They have all been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
