Police are appealing for witnesses after an archery club was damaged by fire during a burglary in the New Forest.
In the early hours on 18 December, the Waterside Archers clubhouse off Summer Lane, near Exbury Gardens was broken into and archery equipment was stolen.
Around £2,000 worth of Rolan bows and arrows were taken, along with a Garrett Ace 150 metal detector.
Two Portaloos on the site were then set on fire, causing damage to the interior of the clubhouse.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information to help police locate the stolen items.
PC Claire Scammell said: “We would like to hear from anyone who knows who was responsible for this offence, or where the stolen items might be.
“If someone offers to sell you items of this description, please contact police immediately.
“As a result of this incident, Waterside Archers no longer have a clubhouse. All their trophies were destroyed in the fire and they no longer have any bows for the members who require equipment.”
