Arrest following a collision near Blandford
Dorset Police is appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or who witnessed the driving of the motorist to come forward.
A 38-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences – but has been released on bail pending further enquiries – following a single-vehicle collision just outside Winterborne Stickland on Monday, 27 October.
The incident, involving a blue Ford Fiesta, happened at around 11.40pm.
Investigations Officer Sam Sheppard, of the Dorset County Volume Crime Team, said:
“We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or the manner of driving leading up to it to please contact police.
“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage as this could assist with our enquiries.”
