Further arrest in Guy Hedger murder investigation in East Dorset
Detectives have made a further arrest on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary in the Guy Hedger murder investigation.
A 45-year-old Poole man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries in the Guy Hedger murder investigation. The arrest was made yesterday, 11 May.
Guy Hedger was killed in the early hours of the morning on 30 April in his home in Castlewood in Ringwood. The post-mortem examination found he died as a consequence of gunshot wounds.
Kevin Downton, who is 40 and from Winterborne Stickland near Blandford, 41-year-old Jason Baccus and 44-year-old Scott Keeping, both of Verney Close in Bournemouth, are all charged with murder. All three are next appearing at Winchester Crown Court in July.
A 40-year-old Bournemouth woman, previously arrested in relation to the incident, has been released under investigation.
The murder investigation is being led by Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT).
