New Forest artist, Sandra Binney is taking the conservation of the New Forest to her heart and raising funds for the New Forest Trust’s Love the Forest campaign.
Sandra who paints the wildlife and environment around the New Forest has so far raised £280 for the charity.
Having lived with her family in the New Forest all her life Sandra says, “I’ve always loved the New Forest – the animals, flora and fauna and the very special landscape, so I am delighted to be able to give something back in this way.”
“I paint in a loose watercolour style and take my inspiration from the unique scenery in the New Forest and the changing seasons.”
Sandra’s work regularly features in exhibitions at Lyndhurst Gallery and other local art retailers.
Lyndhurst Gallery Director, Helen Westbrooke says, “We specialise in contemporary British art and being based in the New Forest National Park are delighted to showcase the works of Sandra and other local artists.”
