Students studying design, illustration, interior design or CAD specialists, as well as budding artists from the BH Postcode and Dorset area, are being called to take part in a very special competition in association with THAT Group.
THAT Group are the developers of the new £85 million Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth and they have partnered with the award-winning international design practice Scott Brownrigg to deliver this high profile competition.
If you have an eye for style and detail then this is a chance for you to enter the competition to design an interiors concept for the 2,000sqft Sky Bar at the top of the Hilton Hotel and you could win a paid placement or a full time job in association with property developers THAT Group and Scott Brownrigg. Entries close at 5pm on 14 February 2014.
The Hilton hotel will include two hotels, luxury apartments and it is the developers aim to utilise skills from local artists and students in core areas.
The winning entrant will not only gain a high profile role / or job / or placement by winning the competition they will also have the opportunity to be part of the design and construction teams and they will work through to the 2015 completion. Not only that the lucky winner will be mentored by the experienced interior design team at Scott Brownrigg and be involved with the developers, this will give the winner an unique opportunity to see the transition of a real life, world class design project, from concept through to the finished article, involving the many layers of detailed design, delivery, and procurement.
