An event, run especially for parents /carers in the New Forest who look after children on the autistic spectrum is being organised by Community First New Forest. The Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Information Day is taking place on Wednesday 15 May, from 10am-1.30pm at Lyndhurst Community Centre. Tea and coffee will be served on arrival and lunch provided during the session. It is open to parents/ carers/ professionals from across the New Forest.
Over the last 3 years, the charity has been running a support group for over 120 parents. Community First New Forest is hoping to meet and help as many parents/ carers as possible on the day, especially those with newly diagnosed children.
