Following an assault on an elderly woman in Poole, police have issued CCTV images of the suspect and are appealing for help to identify this person.
The woman, aged in her 90s, was walking through the Old Town area at around 2pm on 28 June.
As she walked into Levet’s Lane a man grabbed her round the shoulders from behind before running away toward St James’ Church in Church Street.
The victim was shaken but was not physically injured.
The offender is described as approximately five feet eight inches tall, of slim build and was wearing dark clothing.
Detective Constable Nicky McGhee, of Bournemouth CID, said: “As part of my investigation, I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who knows this man to please contact Dorset Police immediately.
“Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out high-visibility patrols in the area to reassure the community.”
