Attempted burglary in Poole
Anyone who witnessed this attempted burglary on 17 April or who has CCTV footage should contact Dorset Police.
A man in his 50s contacted police at around 6am on Thursday 17 April saying that a man had attempted to break into his home in Ashley Road.
He reported that the glass of the front door was smashed and the handle tried before he confronted the suspect, causing the man to run away.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his 20s who was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.
Police Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident.
“I would also ask residents with home CCTV and motorists driving in the area at the time with dashcams fitted to please review their footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance to our investigation.”
