The award-winning Bournemouth and District Concert Band will be performing a selection of music for all tastes at the Barrington Theatre, Ferndown on 14 March in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice.
The band, which was established in 1990 as a community band, was originally called the Kingsleigh Concert Band, before it evolved a few years later into the Bournemouth and District Concert Band and in 2011 they celebrated its 21 anniversary.
The band performs regular concerts in and around the Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown and Wimborne area and will playing everything from Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission Impossible and Skyfall to Candide Overture, Toccata, Benny Goodman and the Dambusters March at the charity fundraiser.
The show starts at 7.30pm with all proceeds going to Lewis-Manning Hospice, who supports over 650 local people annually living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
