A successful week saw Wimborne Town return to winning ways with back-to-back victories and the under 18s pull off a shock victory in the FA Youth Cup.
The Magpies went into their midweek Red Insure Cup Preliminary Round encounter at AFC Totton on the back of a seven-game winless run in all competitions.
They progressed with a 3-1 victory and earned an away clash at Poole Town in the next round.
Then on Saturday, in the Calor League, Wimborne were once again 3-1 winners, this time at Bishops Cleeve, with Mark Gamble scoring a hat-trick.
Wimborne Town u18s enjoyed FA Youth Cup success with a 3-2 victory at Eastleigh.
Their reward is a home clash with Guildford City u18s in the next round on Wednesday 9 October, kick off 7.45pm.
This Saturday (5 October) Wimborne host Marlow in the FA Trophy – non-league football’s premier knock out competition – at Cuthbury. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Replays permitting, the Magpies are back at Cuthbury the following Tuesday (8 October) for a Calor League fixture against Guildford City; kick-off 7.45pm.
